Great place, not only for beers, but GREAT food. We only shared the chicken, mushroom, cheese pizza and chips and salsa. Heated up the chips in the microwave in the dining hall, the salsa tasted HOMEMADE! Saw the burger going to another table! I think it's coming to my table TOMORROW! Had a 22oz Mother Road Tower Station IPA. ABU 7.3%, IBU 70. Hoppy good! Quaint location to wind down from the 4 1/2 hour drive from Las Vegas!

I came to check the buffalo burger, but I think I got something better. An elk sandwich, it is tasty , well seasoned and tender with a lil spice to it. So good I ordered one to go ,I definitely recommend the Elk sandwich , no disappointment on that one.

The food at Yavapai Tavern was amazing. The tacos were juicy, soft and the favorite. The elk sandwich was flavorful. The salad (Arizona Wedge) was healthy and refreshing. The pizza and potato salad that came with the sandwich was ok. Overall it was excellent meal.

We heard about the Elk Burger from the shuttle bus driver and decided to try it ourself! It's amazingly delicious! I personally think that it taste like beef, but a bit tougher. But since it's been minced to a party, the chewiness is adding a nice texture to the burger. No weird smell whatsoever. Salsa sauce is also very nice. The soup is not my cup of tea, i think it's too thick to be called a soup.

Great little lunch stop tucked away. Get there right when they open and snag a shady spot outside. Great lunch after a hike. Very nice staff and dog friendly patio. Bring your own water for your pup. The staff are spread thin so be nice to them!

Food was fantastic, very good vegetarian options. The nachos were massive and easily can be split among 4 people. The tacos were okay, worth adding some spice to it. If they have the Roasted Poblano soup, get it - it’s vegetarian, creamy and well made. The servers were very friendly and checked on us a few times. Great space, great weather and service. Probably the best in the GC area.

Yavapai Tavern exceeded our expectations! We decided to arrive early to beat the crowd, and it was a smart move! As we enjoyed our meal, the place quickly filled up. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. While there weren't views of the Grand Canyon from the restaurant itself, the atmosphere still contributed to a delightful dining experience. We opted for a large pizza, which provided great value for a family of four. The additional seating in Yavapai Hall was a convenient option as well. We especially enjoyed the friendly and attentive service from the staff. Whether you're grabbing a bite after a day of hiking or simply relaxing, Yavapai Tavern is a must-visit spot at the Grand Canyon.

After an awesome (but tiring) south rim hike, we decided to have lunch at the tavern inside the lodge before heading back to Vegas. The elk sandwich was SO good. Such a great combination of flavors. I LOVED the homemade potato salad. I can't say that the fountain drinks or tea were that great, but what was great? The service! Everyone was so nice and the vibes were just so chill. Also feel the prices were decent for national Park pricing with the exception of the drinks. Would love better no alcoholic options.
